Michael Mina 74: A New Concept at The Fontainebleau

Just in time for the holiday season and Art Basel crowd, Michael Mina’s new culinary destination, Michael Mina 74, is scheduled to open November 2013 inside of the famed Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. The sophisticated, American-style bistro menu pays homage to city of Miami with fun, whimsical dishes that blend bold, global flavors with elements of spice, acidity and sweetness.

Featured menu items include Potato-Crusted Pompano, Roasted Sucking Pig Cubano style, Miso-Glazed Black Cod with ramen noodles, karashi and shitake consommé, Moroccan short rib with roasted pepper couscous and coriander jus, and Lobster Pot Pie.

The beverage program will include exotic, handcrafted cocktails and a list of handpicked wines ranging from old-world classic styles to unusual blends and emerging world regions.

Created by the design firm AvroKO, Michael Mina 74 is suited for high-energy diners looking to transform an intimate dinner into an evening of endless celebration. Replete with deep leather couches and dimly lit chandeliers, the new dining concept will provide an intimate, lavish space for couples and small crowds. And it’s Miami, so there’ll be a DJ spinning tracks to set the mood, with the tempo evolving as the evening goes on.
