Roberto Cavalli and Son Host Dinner at Cavalli Miami Thursday, April 24

Dinner never looked so good. This Thursday, famed designer Roberto Cavalli and son Tommaso are touching down on South Beach for an exquisite night of wining and dining at Cavalli Miami Restaurant & Lounge.

The stylish duo isn’t coming empty handed, either. A fine wine via Tenuta degli Dei, the Cavalli vineyard, will complement each of the four dinner courses. The restaurant’s sommelier, Matias Benjamin Vergara, will be on site to offer commentary on the history of the Cavalli winery in Chianti.

Executive Chef Stefano Mazzi is at the helm of the Italian-centric menu, and here’s what he’s got planned.

Vitello tonnato; prosciutto di parma with port-infused melon and truffle pecorino

Tuscan chianina beef tartare and truffles

Primi options, paired with Tenuta Degli Dei 2007 IGT:

Agnolotti al burro e salvia

Gnocchi al ragout d’anatra

Wild boar ravioli and truffle

Main plates, paired with Tenuta Degli Dei 2009 IGT:

Fileto di manzo al Tenuta Degli Dei and rosemary potatoes

Colorado rack of lamb, salmorillo sauce and grilled vegetables

Vitello al burro and salvia with white asparagus

Dessert choices:

Tropical and citrus sorbet

Chocolate crème brulee

Vacherine roasted pineapple, honey sorbet and thyme gelato
