1 can Dale’s Pale Ale
1 tbsp salt
¼ cup canola oil
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp sugar
Cut the potatoes into strips.
Add the beer and salt to a mixing bowl. Add the potatoes and water. The potatoes should be fully covered by liquid.
Cover and chill for at least 3 hours and up to 12.
Preheat oven to 400.
Drain, rinse and dry the potato strips. Return them to the mixing bowl and add the canola oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper and sugar.
Pour the potatoes onto the baking sheet in an even layer.
Bake for 20 minutes. Flip with a spatula and then bake an additional 15 minutes.
